Support & FAQ

G'day! Here are answers to the questions parents ask us most. If you can't find what you need, drop us a line โ€” we're happy to help.

How do player profiles work?

You can set up to 4 player profiles, so the whole family can share one device. Each profile is just a first name or nickname plus an avatar emoji โ€” nothing more. Every profile keeps its own progress, stars and hats. Profiles are stored only on your device; we never see them.

How do the levels grow with my child?

Each of the 17 games has 5 levels. As your child gets the hang of a game, the levels gently step up so it stays interesting without getting frustrating. Because progress is saved per profile, each child moves at their own pace.

What happens when my child gets an answer wrong?

Nothing scary! A wrong answer gives a friendly little wobble and a cheerful "try again". There are no penalties, no time pressure and no shaming โ€” just gentle encouragement to have another go.

How do I turn the sound on or off?

Tap the speaker button (๐Ÿ”Š) at the top of the backyard screen to switch sound on or off. All sound effects are generated on the device as you play โ€” there are no recordings, and the microphone is never used.

How do I delete our data?

You're always in control. To remove a single player's information, delete that profile from inside the app. To remove everything, simply uninstall G'day Play โ€” that deletes all of its data from your device. We hold nothing on any server, because we collect nothing in the first place.

How do the two-player games work?

Some games are "pass-the-device" two-player games โ€” perfect for a sibling or a mate. Players take turns on the same device, no second device or internet needed. It's a lovely way to share a giggle together.

Does the app need the internet?

No. G'day Play works fully offline. There are no ads, no tracking and no network calls while you play, so it's happy on a plane, in the car or anywhere with no signal.

What is the "Full Adventure" unlock? (planned)

We're planning a single, one-time "Full Adventure" purchase. Every one of the 17 games is always included for free โ€” the purchase would unlock the higher levels of each game (so they keep growing with your child) plus some extra reward cosmetics. If we add it, the payment would be handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play โ€” the app never sees or stores any payment details. There would be no subscriptions, no repeatable purchases and no loot boxes.

What ages is G'day Play for?

It's designed for children aged roughly 5 to 10. The levels and Daily Quest help keep things just-right for younger and older kids alike.
